Josh Hill is a singer-songwriter from Lincoln, Nebraska. Hill released his first album in 2008 titled Come Closer and gathered a strong following in the Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska area in a matter of months. The Josh Hill Band was formed in early 2009, they quickly became a household name in the Nebraska music scene playing venues such as The Zoo Bar, and Knickerbockers week-in and week-out. In less than two years after their formation, The Josh Hill Band have been on two national tours, and have played countless local and regional shows. Josh has been invited to play the world famous Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia. He has also been invited to play at Jim Parker’s Songwriters Showcase, in Huntsville, AL. In 2010, Hill packed up and moved to Huntsville, Alabama in order to be closer to the music scenes of Atlanta, Memphis, and Nashville. A new line up of the band was formed, Dylan Roth on drums, and Dave Super on bass. Hill’s sophomore release entitled “Still Frames” was released in November, 2010. The Josh Hill Band will constantly be touring and playing local and regional shows to promote the new album.
