The Josh Hill Band

Blues/Pop is what critics are calling the newly formed Josh Hill Band based out of Lincoln, NE. The band’s cutting blues style comes from the band’s leader and singer-songwriter Josh Hill. Hill’s love for both blues and pop is very apparent in his upcoming independent release entitled Come Closer. Hill is known for his rhythmic finger picking, soulful voice, and passionate stage performance.

The Band was formed in February, 2008 consisting of four Members:

  • Josh Hill – Guitar/ Vocals
  • Andy Essink -Bass
  • Daniel Christian -Keys/Guitar
  • Jake Neeman – Drums

The Josh Hill Band has hit the ground running playing over 40 shows throughout the Lincoln/Omaha area in just 6 months. They have opened for national acts such as Robert Bradley’s Blackwater Surprise, and Devon Allman’s Honeytribe. And have shared the stage with Kris Lager (Indigenous). They are frequent guests at the world famous Zoo Bar in Lincoln and regulars at Knickerbockers, Duffy’s and The Rox in Omaha. The Josh Hill Band has certainly made a name for themselves in the very short time they have been together in the Lincoln area.
